Overview

AirMagnet Survey is the industry's most accurate WLAN design and deployment solution to ensure optimal performance, security and compliance. To obtain the most accurate depiction of a user's experience in the real world, organizations use AirMagnet Survey to collect "live and real-world" signal, performance and spectrum data during wireless site surveys, allowing the IT staff to measure network performance and RF coverage in the most scientific way possible to design the WLAN network for an optimal AP count, placement and configuration. Key applications of the product include pre-network WLAN modeling, WLAN network pre-installation "active site surveys", post-installation "active site surveys" for performance verification of an existing network and "on-going network optimization" as new users, applications or technologies get introduced into the RF environment.
